Who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)?

The CEO is the most senior executive or leader in a company. 

They are responsible for everything that is done in the company!

The CEO hires leaders and teams to do the work of the company.

It is important for the CEO to communicate with people in the company. 

People share their ideas. The CEO must listen to them.

A good CEO must communicate with everybody.

People outside the company also want the CEO to share information.  

Who Appoints the CEO?

The CEO of a company is appointed by the Board of Directors. 

The Board chooses the best candidate.

The CEO can make the company successful.

Examples of famous CEOs 

There are many famous CEOs. 

Jeff Bezos is the CEO of Amazon. He is one of the richest men in the world!

Satya Nadella is the CEO of Microsoft. He is from India!

Indra Nooyi was the CEO of Pepsico. She was famous around the world!

Azim Premji was the CEO of Wipro. He made Wipro a huge company!

Arundhati Bhattacharya was the CEO of SBI. She was the first woman in that role!
