What is RuralShores Skills Academy?
RuralShores is a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company. RuralShores Skills Academy is a subsidiary of RuralShores. They provide skills and vocation training for rural youth for the purpose of employment.
Why did they choose Englishbolo™?
English is a challenging skill to learn for young people in our villages. English speaking skills can only be learned through consistent access to other English speakers, which is hard to find. These youth find jobs in call centers and other customer-facing roles after being trained at the Rural Shores Skills Academy. Confidence in speaking English is very important for them to succeed.
RuralShores Skills Academy chose Englishbolo™program over other programs for its trainees and BPO employees. EnglishBolo™ is available as an app so it can be accessed anytime, anywhere. Learners need to practice 15 minutes a day (many learners spend more time since they enjoy the learning experience). Classes with teachers can be booked for any day of the week at a time that is convenient. Supervisors get regular reports highlighting the progress made by each learner. The program is affordable. Finally, most importantly, there is a significant improvement in the learners’ spoken English.
