Question 7: “What is your biggest achievement?”
Interviewers want to get to know you!
They will ask you about your work.
Think about something you achieved at work.
An example: “I worked in a clothing store. I increased our store’s rating and sales by organizing the clothes in the store according to colour and the customers loved it!”
Write down things that you did that were helpful.
Practice saying it a few times and be confident.
If you can think of more than one, that’s great! Choose your favourite one.
Question 8: “How would your supervisor describe you?”
This question shows your interviewer how you think other people see you.
They are checking your confidence as an employee.
How would your supervisor describe what you?
If you took on a lot of work, you are responsible.
If you always made your customers laugh, you are funny.
Don’t forget to include 1 or 2 simple characteristics you have! For example, a team-player, shy, kind, polite.
Come up with 3-4 words to describe yourself as an employee.
Or ask your supervisor for a few words to describe you before your interview!
Question 9: “What are your hobbies?”
Your interviewer wants to know you better.
This means you need to talk about what you do other than work!
Do you like to swim? write? Draw? Sing? Cook?Bird-watching?
An example: “I like to sit with my family and play games after work”, “I enjoy cooking food and trying new recipes over the weekend.”
Question 10: “Do you have any questions for us?”
It is important to prepare or this question!
Show that you have been thinking about the job.
For example, you could ask: “Will my work require any travel?”
“Do I need to work in a team?”
“How often do people work overtime?”
“What is the training program like?”
