Getting Ready for an Interview
Are you getting ready for an interview?
Here are some common interview questions that will help you prepare.
Practice these questions with us and answer them confidently in your interview.
Question 1
One of the most common questions interviewers ask is, “Tell me something about Yourself?”
Talk about your education and work experience.
Be Brief.
Listen carefully to the sample answer in the video.
“Hi, I am Zayn, I went to AVL Public school and then I did my bachelors from Delhi University. I have been working as a customer representative for 3 years at DC Technology Private Limited. I make sure that the customers are satisfied and face no problems in using our technology.”
He kept it short and clear.
Now write your own answer to this question and practice speaking it aloud.
Question 2
The Next Question is an important question, “Can you tell me more about your previous job?”
Listen carefully to the sample answer in the video.
“In my previous job I used to handle customers and made sure that they understood everything about the product. As a customer support executive, it was my duty to help them out with any questions or problems. This meant answering emails and phone calls, reporting customer problems to higher management and following up to ensure the problems were resolved.”
As we heard, the role was explained well.
Question 3
The next question is something that most interviewers like to know.
Why did you leave your previous job? Or why do you want to leave your current job?
Say positive things about your previous job.
Listen carefully to the sample answer in the video.
“I have spent two years in my current organization. At this point, I feel ready to move to a larger company, where I will have greater responsibilities and more learning opportunities. I believe your organization can provide me with an opportunity to use my past experience, and also learn and grow more.”
The answer was positive.
At the same time, he said he wants to learn more and he hopes that the new company will give him that chance.
Remember never to speak negatively during your interview.
An interview is an important conversation – so, you must practice for it if you want to make a good impression.
